Hey everyone! 👋 Welcome to my new blog, where I’ll be sharing all my messy, fun, and chaotic moments as an international student at UKM. Let me start by introducing myself:

I’m ZHANG CHENXI， from Shandong, China — yes, the home of crispy pancakes and warm, welcoming people! This semester, I’m diving into my Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and I couldn’t be more excited to learn about management, marketing, and all the skills that’ll help me build my future career.

🤔 Why did I choose UKM?

Honestly, UKM was my top choice for three big reasons:

1. Reputation for Business Studies：UKM’s business program is known for its strong curriculum and industry connections — exactly what I need to grow as a future business professional.
2. Multicultural Vibe：Malaysia’s mix of cultures, languages, and food felt like the perfect place to step out of my comfort zone and meet people from all over the world.
3. The Weather (and Food!)：Let’s be real — I’m ready to trade Shandong’s cold winters for Malaysia’s warm sunshine, and I’ve already fallen in love with bubble tea, nasi lemak, and roti canai.

🎨 A little about my hobbies

When I’m not buried in textbooks, you’ll find me doing one of three things:

• Badminton 🥅：This semester, I fought tooth and nail to get into the popular badminton class (seriously, it filled up in 10 minutes!). The photo you see here is me and my friend after our first session — we celebrated with bubble tea and ice cream (my go-to reward after sweating it out on the court). I’m obsessed with how fast and dynamic the game is, and I can’t wait to get better!
• Piano 🎹：I’ve been playing since I was a kid — there’s nothing more calming than sitting down and playing my favorite pieces after a long day of classes.
• Drawing 🎨：I love sketching landscapes and portraits in my free time. It’s my way of capturing the little moments that make life special.

✨ My hopes for university life

At the end of the day, I have two big goals:

1. Score a high CGPA — I’m here to study hard and make the most of every learning opportunity.
2. Be happy every day — whether that’s acing a quiz, trying a new bubble tea flavor, or laughing until my sides hurt with new friends.
